Will a fish trap catch anything other then fish?

 My boyfriend and I bought this neat fish trap at a yardsale.Hoping to catch some shiners to use as bait to catch us some trout. We tried it out one time and caught one fish. I was thinking what a waste, this isnt going to catch anything.

I was wondering if it might caught some other bigger fish, maybe if we loaded it with worms.Big worms that couldnt threw the holes.I knew it wouldnt work but was funny thinking about it.

We put this trap out in the shed with all our other fishing junk.

When we got home this afternoon from going to town we figured we would try the trap and go fishing.We opened the door to the shed and noticed we had caught something alright..Lol

My boyfriend said "See the trap is good for something."

We let the chipmunk go But wondered why he would go inside there wasnt anything in the cage. Wonder if we will find another one in there tomorrow..Lol
